Biography |
Amal Alhaag (NL, 1983) is a curator, researcher and dirty cultural worker working on long-term and experimental research, public programmes and projects. She collaborates with people and initiatives in public environments - both inside and outside institutions - where she creates, stages and composes temporary settings that provide spaces for mutual help, discomfort, dancing, listening, (dis)learning and conversation. Maria Guggenbichler and Amal Alhaag are long-time friends. Together, they initiated and ran Side Room, an informal platform for eccentric cultural practices and ways of thinking (2013-2016). |
