| Biography | Adrián Villar Rojas, artist, was born in 1980 in Rosario, Argentina. Villar Rojas is best known for his large-scale, site-specific sculptural installations. In 2011, he represented Argentina at the Venice Biennale and in 2012 his work was shown at Documenta 13 in Kassel. In his work, there is often a sense of crumbling humanity. In fall 2019 Villar Rojas' Poems of Earthlings opened at Oude Kerk. In the lead up to this work he visited the Oude Kerk multiple times. |
