Breadbin
The bread for the Lord’s Supper was stored in this wooden box. The sliding measure was used to cut the bread into pieces of similar size that were subsequently stored in this breadbin. In the ritual of the Lord’s Supper, bread and wine symbolize the body and blood of Jesus. All the attributes from the Communion set, such as breadboards, breadknife, dishes, and wine ewers and beakers are stored in a cupboard in the Church Warden's Office.
