Drawing of the Stained-glass Window with the Mayors
In the period 1759–1763 the Brussels-based stained-glass artists duo of M.E. de Angelis and son P.J. de Angelis restored the stained-glass windows in the Oude Kerk. An entirely new window was designed for the Snijderskoor – Tailors’ Choir – as a second stained-glass window devoted to burgomasters. The coats of arms of the mayors were added to it through to 1795. Architectural engineer Johannes Lourens (Jan) Schouten made this drawing of the stained-glass window in 1900.
