These multicoloured objects are called corbels and are set on the columns along the choir aisle. Corbels are used to support and decorate the architectural transition from beam or vault to wall or pillar. These four fifteenth-century corbels depict two human heads, a prophet, and an angel as shield bearer. Several details of the figures are gilded, such as the hair, brooch and banderol.
