Choir Stalls
These oak choir stalls are from the Nieuwezijdskapel that was demolished in 1908. After its demolition, several objects were transferred to the Oude Kerk, these choir stalls included, and since then they have been situated beneath the organ, in the abulatory and in the Holy Sepulchre. These stalls provide space for three, four, five or seven people, separated by partitions and armrests. The design of the stalls is similar to those in the Oude Kerk’s chancel.
