Bep Bijtelaar (1898–1978) served as the Oude Kerk’s archivist from 1960 to 1978. She made it her life’s work to identify the graves in the church, but also produced various paintings of the church. This work from 1947 shows the church interior with a view of the pulpit and a pew surrounding a column.
