This watercolour was produced by draughtsman Gerrit Lamberts in 1818. It shows the interior of the St Sebastian Chapel on the southside of the Oude Kerk. In the corner one can see the wooden housing of a staircase, a porch and a door. This door leads to the Iron Chapel, a room where important documents such as privileges, charters and exemptions were kept.
