This drawing by Jan Bulthuis from 1787 depicts the Oude Kerk as seen from the Oudezijds Voorburgwal. From 1780 Bulthuis was active in Amsterdam as a draughtsman and painter who specialized in cityscapes and village scenes. In this drawing you see the church’s southeast wall with the St Sebastian Chapel and several outbuildings.
