This plan by Jan van Maurik (1812–1893) dates from 1834 and is a copy of a plan from 1682 by the architect Justus Vingboons (c. 1620–c. 1698). At the top right you can find the key explaining the letters given to certain places on the plan. For example, the letter C refers to the Church Warden's Chamber and the letter G to the entrance on the Oudezijds Voorburgwal.
