Deze houtsnede toont de Oude Kerk van bovenaf met links de Oudezijds Voorburgwal, de Oudekerksbrug en de Liesdelsluis. Rechts is water met boten te zien. Tot het dempen van de Amstel liep het water tot aan de Dam. De maker, Cornelis Anthonisz (1505-1553) was werkzaam in Amsterdam als cartograaf, graveur, schilder, tekenaar en krentenmaker."
        1 => "A woodcut is a graphic technique that involved the drawing being gouged into wood. The ink collects in the excised sections and is thus stamped onto the paper. This woodcut shows the Oude Kerk from above, with the Oudezijds Voorburgwal, the Oude Kerk Bridge and Liesdelsluis to the left. To the right is water with boats. The water of the River Amstel continued as far as the Dam until this section was filled in."
