        0 => "Met zijn twaalfzijdige onderbouw, zeszijdige bovenbouw, grote ramen, koepel en toren is de ruim viermeter hoge maquette door Nicolaas Listingh niet te missen. Listingh heeft 42 jaar als kerkmeester van de Oude Kerk gewerkt, tot zijn dood in 1705. Naast kerkmeester was hij advocaat en notaris en hield hij zich bezig met architectuur. Hij ontwierp dit gebouw voor de Botermarkt in Amsterdam, maar het is nooit uitgevoerd. Het gebouw is zeer gedecoreerd. Zo zijn de vele hoeken van het gebouw bekleed met rustica en zijn de spitsboogramen voorzien van decoratie in geometrische vormen."
        1 => "With its 12-sided substructure, six-sided superstructure, large windows, dome and tower, this scale model by Nicolaas Listingh, which is more than four metres high, is not to be missed. Listingh worked as the Oude Kerk’s church warden for 42 years, until his death in 1663. Besides being church warden, he was a barrister and notary, and he had an interest in architecture. He designed this building for the Botermarkt – or Butter Market – in Amsterdam, but it was never realized. The structure is highly ornate: the many angles of the building are clad with rustic ornamentation and the Gothic windows are decorated with geometrical forms."
